Amazing cappuccino art. Taken at Fanr restaurant on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. A new find for me, and a great choice for a chic yet casual lunch.

At the Manarat al Saadiyat museum in Abu Dhabi on Flickr.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this weekend’s trip to Manarat al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. A neat little museum that highlights plans for the city’s and the island’s growth. And it comes complete with a cheery, bright restaurant on premises.

A great spot for dim sum brunch in Abu Dhabi, served everyday! The menu changes by week, and because it’s Abu Dhabi, there is no pork served, but its tasty.

I love the funky lobby at the Fairmont Hotel in Abu Dhabi. A great place to spend an evening, with a stop at Frankie’s for dinner, or, if you want to go really upscale, Marco Pierre White.
